Hi shadey!

Well i've only ever used Freedom VPN so i can't make a direct comparison from experience but essentially the main difference is that we're able to unblock websites from more regions and especially asian content through PPTV (and we're working on adding more!)

Communication between the customer and the company is also a big bonus i'd say - our customers can request for sites to be added on, feedback questions/concerns and our engineers respond directly in the Fibernet forums. We take your feedback very seriously, so this kind of communication has actually had a huge impact in shaping Freedom VPN, and our other services as well :)

Oh? There are so many threads there without any answer, just the usual "contact noc" response. That's why many of the VQ subscribers fall back to HWZ - it's much faster to get a response here.

Likely sometime next week.

Anyone want to take a guess as to what it might be? :D

Hi Nic,

Any prizes for correct answer? My guess is that ViewQwest US has been set up and there will be direct connection from Singapore to US. This will make Freedom VPN a much better service???

Hi everyone!

We’re excited to reveal our newest promotion – Free FTP installation for new signups to the Fibernet 300 Bundle!

We've made arrangements with OpenNet so that people who missed the free installation during the initial roll-out get a second chance to experience the Ultra-Fast speeds on Fibernet. You can download the application form here: Price plans | ViewQwest Pte Ltd

Are you running the zhone in router or bridge mode?

As someone who had to pay for my TP this really blows. Was told the installation fee was from Opennet so no way VQ can get it waived. Now this? No doubt i signed up for 100 mbps but i upgraded to 300 within a year. Disappointing!

So what is this now? Opennet still charging but VQ is paying for it hence from customer pov it is free? Or did VQ manage to twist opennet's arm into genuinely waiving it?

We have an arrangement with OpenNet for the month of July to allow us to waive the OpenNet FTP charges for those who missed the installation.

This is only applicable to high rise installations.

We are only offering this on our Fibernet 300 bundle as we also have to bear some of the cost.

zhone is running on bridge mode to my ac66

I haven't had much experience personally with the AC66. But sounds like something very wrong?

Were you using another router before or was the zhone in routed mode?
