It doesn't cost a lot if you cook it yourself

Not that hard to cook steak and I like mine plain i.e. just seasoned with sea salt and Tobasco

Can also try Kerry Gold - the "gold" standard for grass-fed butter according to the paleo sphere![]()

Check the label/wrapping to see if it's from NZ. AFAIK, only NZ butter is grass fed. Australia, Denmark etc and the rest are all grain fed - this means the omega 3 content is lower.

Vitamin K2 found in grass-fed butter (like SCS Butter) may reduce heart attack risk.
Vitamin A and vitamin E found in butter both play a strong
anti-oxidant role.
Butter is a very rich source of selenium, a vital anti-oxidant containing more per gram
than herring or wheat germ.
You can get grass fed beef at reasonable prices from here:

This one is slightly more expensive but the cuts are good:

President butter is from France. AFAIK, it's not from grass fed cows. Stick to Anchor butter or any other brand from NZ.

If it doesn't specifically say grass fed butter or butter from grass fed cows, skip it!
No, the SCS website doesn't specifically say that the butter is from grass fed cows. Also SCS butter is blended with canola oil which isn't exactly healthy, to say the least.

This is in contrast to the Anchor website:

You need to really dig for the info; if it's not specifically mentioned that the butter is from grass fed cows, skip it.
http://chriskresser.com/why-grass-fed-trumps-grain-fed
although the website didn't but the PDF from their website stated it is..
how sad.. i really like the smooth taste of SCS butter...
it taste so great even eating it plainly
somemore i bought 6 blocks last week. haha
What’s so special about SCS Spreadable Butter?
New formula and packaging
Blended with canola oil
No artificial colouring
Low in trans-fat
Creamier and smoother and more easy to
spread
Rich in vitamins: Canola oil contains vitamins E and K, which protect from free radicals and aid in blood clotting.
You really need to scrutinize what is said on the PDF to see if it's REALLY grass fed, grain fed or just another crap spread:
Enough said...
I emailed Zac Butchery, they just replied and said their butter is from grass-fed cows
their price is like 60% cheaper comparing to other brand
