How's the PS3? Anyone using this can comment?

I'm surprised this thread is in EDMW instead of the Cars folder. Anyways I will repeat what I said there about the PS3:

The PS3 is what I consider the most all-rounder tyre in the market, and what I use as a measuring stick when comparing with other tyres. It's not that it has the best grip of all tyres, nor is it the quietest tyre ... but it has the best wet and dry grip for a tyre with a decently bearable noise level.

All other tyres are either:
- better grip but (much) noisier,
- poorer grip but quieter, or
- poorer grip and yet noisier.
There is no other tyre in the market that has better grip and quieter.

I think he meant amaron. mine lasted for close to 2 years before it needed a replacement.

my mech changed it for me at sgd120. I think it would be cheaper if u changed it at a workshop.

I think the price usually starts from $150 and up for 60ah, I think. a workshop in jb quoted me rm300 for a similar amaron but after hearing all the horror stories about them selling fake or recon batteries, I decided to change it here in sg.

How to check on own batt life? I no budget put volt Meter..

For jump start kit to work you need the recovery vehicle battery to have a higher rating than yours and your battery cannot be too flat. Else it won't work.

As for checking battery life the best is to estimate the time. 1.5 yr can change already.

true. oh, i spoke to an indian businessman sometime last year, and he told me his amaron is still working after 3 years(in his honda accord back in india, dunno is he's telling the truth man)... lol... and he also said that amaron gives 48 months warrenty in india too.

sorry to side track. ok my friend has a portable jump start kit. it looks like a power bank. i witnessed him using it to jump start another friends car, and it works! i think it's good to own one of this.
