Anyway, what I was saying is that I've carried the 2011 MBA for 1 year and the 2012 15" rMBP for 1 year, and frankly, I don't really feel the weight difference.

We can carry on discussion here instead. Let's not derail this thread anymore.

sad to hear that you're having Wifi problems on your MBA.
i've no Wifi issues on my MBA (delivered last Friday) so far on Starfug fibre.

sorry that i couldn't help much. gotta wait for the experts/pros here to help you with your router settings

Looks like I stand corrected. Using the Macbook Air now after installing an update from Mac app store(didn't detail a wifi related update) but after a reboot, internet is constantly connected! Cheers!

At least you discovered early. Take back to Apple support (or rather call them). I believe they have orders from top to collect MBAs with such problems for analysis, so they will do a 1 to 1 exchange with you.

Yep, I read the article about them ordering a "capture" for the MBAs with WiFi issues. But miraculously, it's behaving well with my router today so I shall monitor for the next few days. Afterall, I signed up for AppleCare so no rush thanks for the advice!

Gotten my first MBA. So far so good. Love the light weight as I understand the pain in carrying heavy laptop around. I'm impressed with the battery life. Wifi no issue too cheers

i think alot of people here do not noe the wifi problem is what.

i just gotten a 11" having wireless ac issue.

2.4ghz run just fine.

*installing the patch - wireless ac can use now. but speed slower then wireless n

mean for now using AC still bad as. compare to 11n
