somehow I feel we are just like beta testers for google... they launch certain new features.. pixel users will get them first but usually only exclusive for awhile as they will eventually release to all other Android phones down the road.

Seems like it. Google is really turning into Apple. Removing options for users. Sigh.

Even the navigation, not all wants the gesture. For me it's still faster to tap.

Anyway, no clear advantage for now to buy pre-order. Will wait more to see if there are issues, like what happen in pixel 2 xl. But really liking the small pixel 3.

Ya.. I definitely prefer LED notification to Always On Display. LED notification can see from afar, is more subtle, and, doesn't suck as much battery....

Actually u should wait until Nov or Dec where there are better promos in the run-up to the festival season. I received store credits of usd100 from Google store U.S and a Google home mini free for my P2 purchase last Dec. I think I will still buy from u.s again and ship back to SG if the promo offer is better than sg.

O yes with the better currency exchange rate for AUD/SGD, maybe a good time to buy P3 from Oz. No wonder everyone is buying the Sony 1000xm3 from Oz and some even resell in Singapore.

Seriously with this kind of pricing, i would rather buy iphone XR.
Whole point of switching from iphone to android for me early this year was because of the pricing.
