somehow I feel we are just like beta testers for google... they launch certain new features.. pixel users will get them first but usually only exclusive for awhile as they will eventually release to all other Android phones down the road.

Yes for android features. But pixel line features are only available on pixel devices i believe.

Other android devices wont have pixel visual core etc.

Free pixel stand for pre orders via singtel it seems.

I checked dimensions and seems like no change for pixel 2 xl & pixel 3 xl. Case should fit.

But does anyone who have had experience with wireless charging know if wireless charging would still work with a case

it will work with most cases, with the only exception being metal cases? Not a big deal since quite rare to see metal case anyway. haha.

Which month did u exactly recontract with singtel?

I have been following the prices and i am pretty sure feb march 2018 singtel was still selling the pixel 2 xl 64gb recontract at $848 which is also the same price during pre order.

Anywhere did google say what are the warranty duration like? I would assume its 1 yr only since the 2 yrs thingy was due to the worries regarding pixel 2 xl.

Also buy from singtel/starhub/google store sg, should there be a need for warranty repairs, go where

actually, i would wish to jump to starhub, because singtel only gives me $55 for recontract. whereas if i port over to SH, i have a discount of $200 port in fee.

Where should I go to get aftersales support for Google Pixel 3/ Pixel 3 XL?
You may try to troubleshoot through the guidance provided by Google here. Alternatively, you can head down to Google's Authorised Service Centre, CTDI Singapore at Aperia Mall, 12 Kallang Avenue #03-03, Singapore 339511. It is opened from Monday - Friday from 11am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm, closed on Sunday and Public Holiday.

I think i read somewhere on reddit that the screen panel is by LG. Could be the one used in LG v40

it's made by their internal team... ie the former HTC team which google bought over

honestly don't see any unique selling point for pixel 3 over pixel 2, all software updates will be available for p2.. but at the same time hand itchy want to try new phone..

I traded off my 2xl for a ipX because the blue tint and crushed blacks were really so bad :/

1st nov go singtel hello shop can recontract without early termination penalty for 12 months contract? If so, only cant get free pixel stand.

I should be looking to find time to visit the stores to get some hands on see if i get tempted to upgrade.

Imo its mainly camera features.

U probably got a bad set? Idk much but im glad i dont notice whatever crushing black issue so far. Blue tint is at acceptable level since its only when viewed at an angle, which is hardly the case when im using my phone.

Google has its own authorised service centre this time round it seems, no longer LG. The address is stated on StarHub's FAQ page.

Yup standard 1 year. The 2 years was specifically catered for the uproar of the display issue on the 2xl.
