Volte and wifi calling works on pixel3 on singtel

I just pop in my singtel sim into pixel3, enabled wifi calling under settings mobile network. then phone settings, calls, wifi calling, select call over wifi.

Testing Volte works
Call when connected to LTE, call connected still on LTE

Testing wifi calling works
On the phone calling screen, there is a wifi icon above the number you are calling.

I only pop in the singtel sim after upgrade to android Q beta 3, so no idea if this support holds true for android P, will test if i ever revert back.

Sounds good news. I am on Singtel.

But my 100min outgoing barely utilised.

So for singtel guys, you need 4G Clearvoice in your plan. clearvoice is Volte for singtel.

Some ladies don't like.

But for the Clearvoice, only limited models are supported right?

Singtel's supported list is not updated already.

i have been on iphones for the longest of times... and those have all been supported.
Just glad pixels are now fully supported... well at least p3 with android q... others i don't know

You have been with iphones. What makes you switch to Pixel actually?

Don't you notice any significant change in performance?

i don't play games.. use apps, messaging, browsing. the experience is very very similar between both now. no lags detected on the apps i use, scrolling, speed all smooth
been using iphone xr for about 6 months now.. and i still find it too big and heavy.
so i told myself if volte and wifi calling supported on singtel, i make p3 the primary phone.

so now iphone xr become spare/travel phone.... lol

i find the cameras for iphone xr and p3 very very similar. <p3 fans don't beat me up>

the main motivation for me is fast phone in a small form factor with the most up to date OS and on going support. so out of the apple system, i guess only google fits the bill

edit: i actually missed the square mode of ios camera. cannot find on google camera, have to mannually crop after.. affects my framing

maybe i am used to wifi calling. and for lte speed..have thus far been ok

wifi signal also ok with me, i connect to my ap at 866Mbps for both iphone 7 and iphone xr. even the current pixel 3 is also a 866Mbps

i am on android q beta 3, didn't test on the current P
also check that you have 4G Clearvoice in you phone plan.

i didn't do anything special... pop in sim, go to mobile networks, under advanced you will see wi-fi calling option

android Q got some features like randomized wifi mac address for privacy....
So it uses a different one for each ssid u connect to

and it caused me quite a bit of grief... i was wondering at one point why failed authentication to my AP..... the good and bad of being on cutting edge
