For those who checked out the demo units for both pixel 3 and 3xl, did you notice a difference in the feel of the power button? The pixel 3 at amk hub singtel felt a little loose, almost like it's a two stage shutter button. You press in it will sink a bit, then you press more and feel the click. Whereas for the 2 pixel 3xl demo sets there, the button felt normal. :/

Take it easy bro, he’s prolly one of the few millions who are still holding out on a “pixel ultra” notchless phone. Can’t say google didn’t disappoint millions of android fanboys hoping google would be the shining light in the android world to provide us with phones that don’t cost a premium price tag and price somewhere in the range of $300-$500 like a nonprofit group. Unlike iPhones which cost above 1.5k.

If price is main concern, I would choose to give OnePlus a try instead of the S9. Personally get very turned off by Samsung's ecosystem and everything they throw in their phones.

Since the Pixel 2 last year, the Pixel line from Google is no longer value for money.

My last samsung was the s2.

But i've constantly had hands on with s4 s6 s7 s8 becos of the folks at home. They use samsung long
term thus i cannot recommend anything else to them else they will find it hard to adapt.

Despite using samsung constantly i often get questions from my folks like "how to.." "where is.." "what is this thing.." "why today suddenly this pop up.."

I think my folks just need simple phone that dont prompt them anything much. Can call, sms, facebook, whatsapp, take pic, view pic can liao.

This is correct, that’s why real world is not talk about “but u can’t 4K60fps, I can’t split screen, I have multi Bluetooth simultaneously connect to different speakers to blast the music.”

My parents also at the age where it would be best if the phone can perform the basic task fluidly with minimal hiccup. Even if u explain to them “we need to force kill the app cos its buggy/out of ram” chances are they won’t remember it the next time
