will there be telco bloatware from Singtel/Starhub if bought from the telco?

My pixel 2 xl from singtel last year no bloat. Totally clean. Not even the sgsecure app found in my parents s8 gets in the pixel

I can also attest that my pixel 2 xl set from singtel last year was totally clean. No mysingtel, no sgsecure etc. Just standard google apps.

Mainly coz of camera. Oneplus camera is always mediocre/average.

In fact i can bet that most of us buy the pixel 3 is becoz of its phenomenal camera. If the camera is just great, i dont think we will be buying this phone coz of the ugly big notch and yea got better option like oneplus and huawei at much cheaper price

I think i shall just get a second hand pixel 2 xl. The price of pixel 3 xl is just too ridiculous and there's so many issues.

Besides the sd845 and samsung oled, there's really not much significant benefits from getting this over the pixel 2 xl at $1.5k. I can use ported apk of pixel 3 camera with night sight on pixel 2 xl.

That's right. I'm buying a camera, and it came with a phone functions. If not for the camera, there really isn't any reason for me to change phone.

Mine changed for 6-7 Nov to 6-7 Nov (i.e. no changes at all). I received the same email for the pixel stand order and my credit card was billed 2 days later. However the delivery date for the pixel stand is 14-16 Nov. The logistics really cockup.

OnePlus is weak in a lot of things, but software updates is not one of them.

Totally agree with you. OnePlus stepped up their software game for sometimes alr. Hardware, they are also good. Screen panel QC also very good. Only thing cmi and cui is the camera. They don’t want fix the cam but they don’t want to release the camera blob also for dev to work on it, that’s why gcam got green dots on it.

It was only just last year they screwed up with the jelly screen on the OP5T. And Oneplus phones had always have security issues on their phone, eg. sending user info back to their servers on AWS..
