Pixel 3 XL owners did you guys notice any "darken colour" on white background where the notch/status bar resides? Something like a burn in.

If I scrutinise very very carefully, I can see a white line underlining the notch when on Chrome. And I only just got my phone yesterday so you can say it's there right out of the box (ie unlikely to be a burn-in).I can't see the white line when I'm on my home screen.

I wouldn't count this as a defect or inconvenience though....

i have both Belroy and Nomad,... Belroy is more light weight while Nomad offers better protection (its TPU covers 3/4 of the side including the buttons).

Belroys buttons is leather and not as clicky as the Nomads.

"Punchy" means the vibrance level is too high. It's as if every photo has the vibrance slider in Lightroom dragged all the way to the right.

Not familiar with lightroom but okay. Meaning overly vibrant i assume.

It's new. Should be clean. Anyway I tried cleaning and I'm still getting the fingerprint sensor is dirty sometimes. It happens more frequently with one finger. Strange.. Anyone encountering this issue?

Try re-setup your imprints?

Idk what technique you use. But one technique i would recommmend people to use is,

Imagine your finger's center is the numpad key 5.

Imprint the 5 spot first, then tilt it slightly up to imprint 5 & 8. Then 5 & 6 then 5 & 4 then 5 & 2. A lot of people i know imprint by constantly tapping the center of their finger multiple times during the process.

By only imprinting the center of your finger you always have to use the center to unlock. But if you imprint the center and all 4 directional tilted parts of your finger, when unlocking even if your finger is slightly slanted it will work too.

Or use alcohol swabs to give the sensor a clean wipe. If still got fingerprint sensor dirty warning means maybe hardware issue liao

I understand. Everybody sees things differently. I love my 3 non-XL too. Luckily I don't face any of the issues reported yet.

My guess is in the next iteration of Pixel, we are going to lose yet another feature. Most likely the speakers for the edge-to-edge screen.

I prefer if google work on improving the sound quality of the speakers instead of insisting it is front firing. Despite the p2 and p3 having front firing speakers, they dont match up well against the iphone X or razer phone's speakers. Just maybe louder isnt good enough
