Puru Saxena is calling for 20% fall in Nasdaq!

Which is quite normal if you study market history and note the corrections in a trading cycle. Puru also notes relative strength in picking stocks which is also what I always emphasise for my own trading. To me, he is a cross between a position trader and a long term investor

20% drop seems like a good place for me to start buying Nasdaq 100 ETF? (CNDX or ANXU).
I think it would be good to buy the VWRL or IWDA too, since it is the Nasdaq stocks which are making it so expensive. So if Nasdaq has a correction, it would be good to buy broad markets.

I suspect if Nasdaq drop 20%, IWDA will only drop 10%... so i guess the question is which one is more value? I guess simplest is just buy both =:p

While waiting for the 20% sale, I bought some ETFs today as part of my regular DCA.

I got no issues if it falls further, I am happy to buy more! :s13:

Is everyone buying the dip? I was hoping for market to go down tonight so that I can buy more!

I did my monthly DCA which is 20k, it includes a bit of new savings but mostly redeployment from my bond funds. I didn't catch the dip, but what I noticed was, my equity allocation is about 600k, 20k as a proportion of 600k is like 3%, so the buying of dip is a psychological thing but mathematically it makes no difference. A 2% dip buying with 20k is like $400 savings. Hardly worth fussing about. But yeah psychologically feels nice to buy the dip :)

market looking good for buyers tonite, but as a rule I don't buy on Fridays. If the downward momentum continues next week, I'm definitely buying.

Monday was US MLK holiday, so I guess I'll do a little buying tonite, while waiting for the big 20% sale.
