1st usage with this vs pad 6.
Speaker sound worst, had to turn off dolby which makes it a bit better but pad 6 sounds fuller & more balance. This one sounds imbalanced - louder on bottom & harsher / hollower / thin overall.
No clear speaker option on poco but available in pad 6. It supposedly help to clear and blockage / dust etc.
Speed also can feel slower, basic app update download & install takes longer. Basic OS system patch can take like 10-15 mins. Pad 6 ddr5 & ufs3.1 vs poco ddr4 & ufs 2.2
Display color scheme don't have (original color pro) which imo make look more natural.
Hyper OS version 1.0.12 on pad 6 vs older 1.0.8 on poco.
Poco got miracast which i think mean can cast laptop to the poco. Not available on pad 6.
imo pad 6 is better if ok with smaller screen. But poco more worth it if can tahan the downgraded speaker. Bought 8/256 pad 6 with free case for $455 vs 8/256 poco no freebies for $285.
yep - I only use earpiece with the Poco since it is for travelling usage. Definitely slower than the Pad6. Can't really edit Insta360 videos.
My Netflix/MAX offline downloads were pretty good quality IMO for a budget line screen. Dolby Vision i dunno..seems like anyone can buy the license and name to smack it on..lol
Pad6 is better for home use - hence i got the pad6 for my mom for her news and YT/movies etc. easier size for an old lady to use. Poco too big for her.
Yup, there's downside to the POCO Pad with the price difference.
So got to weigh the pros and cons and personal usage before putting the money down.
Yep...Poco is really disposable road warrior..for the money..the keyboard combo works really well. Good for work/leisure usage and not worried about it being beaten up.
That said... screen protector just arrived! gonna install it today.
