Normal la, have issues like such glitches with software, XM's software not that great as we know, buggy it is.

One UI is much more superior than hyperos3... In fact hyperos is the worst UI I've ever used lol ... Just my opinion...

Not as intuitive and feature rich as originos and one UI.. not bcoz it's buggy.. but it feels like the whole OS is designed by a kindergarten engineer without much thought process lol ..

Hardware is good tho.. I like the built quality of Xiaomi 17 pro ...

Ya same .. not sure will come to sg or not hor. this my first time eyeing a Xiaomi flagship phone (many yrs ago bought a budget Redmi model but that was Miui era)

Ive experienced my own quirks with HyperOS also. I own a xiaomi pad 6S pro and used to own Xiaomi 14 (local set)

The one that pissed me off most was the interconnectivity feature, it WILL NOT WORK if your two devices are of different region. My xiaomi pad 6S pro is CN set and my XM14 is SG (global) set. I could prob try to flash an EU ROM on my pad 6S pro and it might work, but I think we can all agree that interconnectivity should NOT be based on software region.

I bought the xiaomi pad 6s pro partly to use it with the xiaomi 14 thru that feature only to find out that fragmentation denied me that wish.

Doesn't work with IOS as marketed too, only with HyperOS 3.0 which is essentially new models only.
Absolute hot mess with how XIaomi implement and manage software. I honestly believe it's possible, just whether they bother to even get it done....

Well, by the time it comes, XIaomi 18 series is releasing in China and stealing the limelight again.

Xiaomi completely ignored google's design language with hyperOS.

Material You never existed on it, and im very sure Material 3 Expressive is void from the latest HyperOS 3 too. That design is the soul of modern day android. Without it you're just using an android version of iOS. At least with OneUI, samsung still kept elements of M3E (and previously material you) as part of the overall look and feel.

I think it is a silly decision not to release one of them as Global ROM, are they so confident on international folks snapping up the more expensive 17 Ultra like hotcakes ?

The pro max base is only 100 SGD less than the ultras tho... They probably testing market before the ultra release.. curious what's the breakdown in the 1 mil sales figures.. pros shud sell much better than the base..
