if i'm not wrong, at that stage the insurer typically advises the victim to file a civil suit against the culprit. You are correct that this process is strange

Yes as I know it make another party very hard to claim as the *******'s insurance is not inform hence may not bother pay out.

Such cases, insurance company will inform the driver to report if still not, worse come to worse, hear they may void the party policy and etc etc.

Ya, the insured will be notified, if they ignore, the insurance could be voided. Plus following year premium will go up definitely.

That's why a good and proper insurance company is important :s13:
If you bought those cheapest insurance but want good service then where does their budget come from?

Does it matter whose insurance it is?
Ya, if the other party never report.

You cant claim aka the other's party insurance company will not do up your claim.

Got nothing to do with your good service~expensive insurance company you are with.

Ok. Afaik my good insurance coy will follow up. Or the "extra mile" you always hear of.

Half-fk cheap insurance coy will just leave it as it is.

Yes, urban closet. This is what I had been told. Reporting centre even advise me to claim my own insurance even not my fault if I urgently want to repair. Why like that ? Okay, mine is new car and the other person is very old car. That's why the other party don't bother to report :(

Suspecting the other party may be driving a 9 years old car and do not intend to continue driving the following year after his vehicle is scraped so he also dont care lo.

Civil suit will be troublesome but seem to be the only way??~~if you like to claim from him personally (if worse case, his insurance company intend to void his policy aka coverage). 😧

Atleast i know they bothered to fight for my case. If you think it is useless then continue with your coy.

And which tv shows film about car insurance? I'd like to watch too.
