Not payout for hospital stay, but surgical fees/hospitalisation fees which be covered under IP? But ya you're right, the way they word is like abit misleading... maybe he tried to claim for something else
The crux of the article is that it does not specify which type of insurance policy the claimant is claiming under. Different insurance types have different payout structures.
  • Hospitalisation Plan: reimburses medical expenses (e.g. hospital stay, surgery, treatment costs)
  • Critical Illness (CI) Plan: provides a lump-sum payout upon diagnosis of a covered illness
  • Life Plan: provides a payout upon death or total permanent disability
At the end of the day, this really highlights the declining standard of journalism where the author and the editor who approved the article clearly left out key information, making the piece come across more like an attempt to bash the insurer than to provide balanced reporting.

News articles sometimes like to add/remove information that may end up become misleading.

Nong time ago, ST nightlife got interview me but when the papers was published the response was not exactly what I mentioned. Since then I learn to take articles with a pinch of salt.

I don’t get why a proper massage would involve touching erogenous spots. :s11:

At most, maybe the inner thighs for muscle work. I am fine with a male masseur massaging that area, but if it is a female, I honestly feel awkward. What I really can’t stand, regardless of gender, is when you are lying face up and the masseur presses on your thighs and holds there for a few seconds. It just feels uncomfortable and akward.

Why does she look like an alien 👽

Medical condition. Seems a bit mental from what I read also. Like she kept posting about some r/s with an actor.

She’s also not joining group activities for now. Didn’t see her at waterbomb also.

she just sue her former agency boss for many money, yesterday. that would probably explain why she not seen in 2NE1 last few leg of the concert.

Why? Your quads need massaging too.... it is one of the more problematic areas... what's so awkward about it....? :s11:

zhng too much plus the weird filters she likes to use on IG

last time she looked like this:

park-bom-2ne1.jpg
Before all the cosmetic work, Park Bom actually looked fine. Back then, YG reportedly used to comment that 2NE1 members were not conventionally pretty, and she probably got affected by that. It is not surprising if those remarks left her mentally scarred and led her to go for cosmetic procedures.

Back then, I was selected and interviewed by the one prominent press media to represent my faculty due to my thesis. I remember clearly saying that all universities are good in their own ways, not just NXX. But when the article came out, it made it sound like I was praising NXX as the best school.

Yeah. so, i agreed with your perspective, as well.

Erogenous spots can differ from person to person.... does not mean it has to be in... ahem... hard to reach private places :s34:

Frankly thighs are generally just ticklish for me but I need to loosen my quads due to overworking them and realtively weaker glutes/hamstring

Then where exactly are you shy about female therapists touching that you don't mind guys touching.....? :s34:

After going for massage for 20+ years, can confidently say massage strength got very little to do with actual muscles... right technique, right spots, small skinny lady can leave me bawling in pain. What I do not like about many male therapists is that they cannot moderate their strength.... tight muscles/bones cannot differentiate and just apply strength throughout, leaving me more bruised than relaxed.

Granted it is easier to find guys with enough strength than ladies with right technique.... but it is also easier to get injured and improperly treated by guys too. Bonesetters and chiropractors (quacks) I would definitely prefer male to females

Now... as for your cumback..... I think you get enough of it during your massages.... :s13::s13:
Yes. I was told with the right technique, the masseuse don't need to use a lot of strength. (hence they can work many hours continuously)

Really need to find someone who knows the right massage... Some parts cannot be massaged (like some area around the neck). Prolong damage can be fatal....

Yea it's 2 different policies.

In the ideal case, both policies should pay out... The 100k for critical illness and medical reimbursement basis for integrated shield
