Just pulled the trigger on the xikestor rtl8159 usb3.2 10g dongle on taobao. Will see how well it works with my PC (AMD 7700 Asus X670E-E mobo) and eight 10g hbb.
Speed test direct from Eight 10gbps HBB ONT to my PC using the xikestor SKN-U310GT USB 3.2x2 dongle.

Are you running Windows 11 or ? Does it require separate driver download from Realtek to be recognized by the OS ?

Running windows 11. At first windows used some default driver that didn't seem to work. Luckily I had the foresight to download the driver from Realtek (https://www.realtek.com/Download/List?cate_id=585) beforehand, so I installed that. After installing the adapter worked.

For those looking for a working 10G Ethernet USB Adapter, this is what I used for connecting to the 10G Ethernet Port of my NAS.

This is a true 10G Ethernet adapter.
I confirm that I can hit almost 1 Gigabyte per second for data transfers between my laptop and my NAS ( with 10G Ethernet Port).

The temperatures are also quite cool. After transferring data at 10 G speeds, the adapter is not boiling hot, only lukewarm to the touch.

IOCREST USB4 Single Port 10G Ethernet Adapter Compatible with Thunderbolt 3/4 RJ45 10GBASE-T

I paid about SGD 105 for this.
The price tends to fluctuate a bit.

You also have to follow the vendor's instructions on the same Aliexpress page to install the required Windows drivers.

Tmall about the same price.

This uses the Marvell AQC113 controller. Driver can be downloaded from Marvell at https://www.marvell.com/support/downloads.html
Latest driver is version 3.1.10 released on 1 Sep 25.

Seems like there's some driver or hardware issue.

From ONT to GT-BE98, router internal speed test can hit 7+gbps for both up and down. but the dongle can hit 7+gbps down and only 3+gbps up.

IMHO.
Can try this.

Window search - CMD
Type ncpa.cpl at command prompt.
Look for the ethernet adapter, right click and choose "Status".
I have 1Gbps so my speed shows 1Gbps.

I think download speed of 93 Mbps seems you are connected at 100 Mbps ?

Update, the issue was with Firefox. DO NOT USE FIREFOX BROWSER FOR SPEED TEST!

Retested with Chrome, now getting full speeds up and down. Nothing wrong with the adapter, my BE98 router or the cable.

Actually you should not even using Chrome Browser, you should use the app or the CLI.

But your PC may be very fast so even the Chrome browser gives very fast speed.

OOkla Speedtest app: from Windows Store if using Windows.

OOkla Speedtest CLI:

I used new cat6 cable. Still shows at 100mbps though speed/duplex is set at 1 gbps.

My pc is connected through a wall socket.

Can the wall socket be a problem?

Can do screen shot?
To isolate the issue quickly, either you bring the PC to the router and plug directly or you find a long cat6 cable.

I bought a USB 3.2 10G ethernet adaptor that uses the realtek rtl8159 chip from Taobao.

However, when I run speed test, the internet will immediately cut and Windows device manager says that Windows has stopped the device because it reported a problem (error code 43).

If I limit the link speed to 5 Gbps, speed test can complete with no issues.

Anyone encounter this before? I already installed the latest drivers from Realtek website for USB controller.
