8-Year Wait For Yishun BTO Sparks Frustration Online

Already stated will only complete in 2029/2030 Priiods

1) These areas are part of Orchid Country Club, some areas need to wait till the lease to finish before can touch
2) It's also a swamp area too, more foundation needs to be done hence more time needed
3) Many people still want to wait despite seeing the completion time is in 2029/2030 because of the scenary view is beside Lower Seletar Reservoir

Now because other BTO projects have shorter wait time ppl start to make noise
If foundation not laid properly later ppl live in collapse how?

Meanwhile they still have 1 year to their MOP for their yishun BTO, I would have already moved into my spanky new 4brm condo, with all the down payment already paid using the flipped proceeds.
You got your 2b1b at $400+k?

Its always about the profit margin, not necessary about the entry price.

U will be surprised the difference in MSR and TDSR loan, how much more they can loan, and how much the average young couple salary can loan.

However, if they cant loan and afford it, then too bad,. no choice but to get 1st pot of gold from BTO.
8 years is too ******* long, go get something that is faster that they can afford and kick start this process asap.

Google reviews also showed many other unhappy comments.

One said that she and her husband had applied before they got married. “Now, I’m a mum and my kid has already started schooling, but my house isn’t completed yet,” she said.

“This Vanda Breeze project is getting from bad to worse. How can it be stretched for seven to eight years while they have been saying HDB should be finished in less than three years?” read an angry comment.

the waiting time was not stated or buyers ignored it then cry mother cry father?
During that time, avg 6 yrs wait after successful application is a common timeline.
Only after Nov 2022 batch, hdb cut short the waiting time for subsequent projects to avg 3 yrs.

not really.... i saw a lot in sbf. lol

hdb will develop the whole area..... this bto is near to main road. The future bto maybe block their scenery view....
i think people will wait since the price is lower and TOP will be the same. If they re-apply again, they need to pay higher price.

U see those bto less than 3 years, they actually started their foundation before launch.
5 years already consider long.... 8 years is really long waiting. lol

Before Jan 2023, who would have know that bto projects can be completed by 3 yrs?

As many expected long wait from successful ballot to collect keys, they started applying for bto at a young age, eg, during uni days.

mine havelock is 6 years wait , apply in 2022

already very long, now build till 14 storey only , highest storey is 45

still got 31 to go , this is already a very long wait , but its havelock, so i guess good place with high future profit deserve the wait

but wth yishun? wait 8 years? this area can sell anot?
