居民反映丹戎巴葛坊的按摩院和美容院太多，担心有些业者从事非法活动，丹戎巴葛集选区议员符策翔已向国家发展部和建屋发展局提议，考虑向店主回购店屋地契。

符策翔今天（20日）在社交媒体Facebook贴文表示，将在下来的国会上提问。

他指出，丹戎巴葛坊的一些居民针对那里的按摩院和美容院比例向他表示关注，担心一些业者从事非法活动。由于那里也有几家学前教育中心，家长对孩子日常经过这些店面感到不安。

符策翔说，虽然大部分商家都是合法营业，但少数害群之马有损形象，影响顾客流量及其他店家的生意。

他本周已与警方、建屋局、商联会及市镇理事会代表会面，商讨如何改善丹戎巴葛坊的形象和吸引更多顾客。

他解释，问题源于上世纪90年代建屋局将坊内多个店铺售出，这些店屋拥有约80年的地契。由于店铺属私人拥有，建屋局的监管权限有限，业主倾向出租给能支付更高租金的业者，如按摩与美容业。

符策翔透露，他已建议国家发展部与建屋局考虑回购部分店铺的地契，以便未来由建屋局主导商店组合，更有效回应居民的需求。他也会针对这个问题在来临的国会上提问

与此同时，警方已加强突击检查，取缔涉及不法活动的业者，并将加大执法力度。他也建议内政部和警方扩大对相关行业的监管权限。

商联会也表示支持更多元化的商店组合，并希望引进轻食类的店家。

符策翔强调：“这场转型需要好几年时间，但只要有居民与各方支持，我们一定能成功。”
