Yes! I was irritated with this. Out of nowhere, launching Overwatch, I got an Overlay for Sonic Radar 3 which when I researched, was supposed to show you exactly where the enemy is based on the audio information that it receives.

Blizzard is very strict on such overlays. Asus is trying to get me banned!
And looking at my installs, it wasn't even in the list.
Luckily I got Revo Uninstaller Pro to use hunter mode and directly target and delete all traces of that Sonic Radar 3 and Sonic Studio 3 that they also installed without me knowing.

Like As if I asked for bloatware to be installed in SECRET. Disturbing. :vijayadmin:

What an ordeal! I know blizzard is very strict on overlays and recently I've been getting alot of fatal errors on COD4 due to their latest patch. Something to do with nvdidia overlay. The sonic radar is useless honestly I had something like that on the creative scout radar and all it did was take away my focus. Disabled it straight away. But yeah Asus should not be doing stuff like this. Totally sneaky and not respecting customer's privacy.

Does anyone know if there are still stock of 9700K in SLS?

Walked around the usual shops but couldn't find any the past 2 weeks.

My 9700K (stock) runs up to 73 Deg C when playing Witcher 3 on max.

Cooled by an NZXT Kraken X62.

Is that too high? Any point in changing the thermal compound?

My old 2500K never hit >70 Deg even when aircooled so this is surprising.

Just slightly hotter than mine, but totally fine.

Of course it's hotter than 2500k, 9700k is 8c/8t and require more voltage.

Running on X62, 5GHz , 1.35v.

OCed? Mine was at stock. :(

Is this 100% load running an AVX stress test?

Prime96 consider too hash to test cpu stability

I only test using AIDA. Btw , today I tried 5.2 Ghz, boost voltage all the way to 1.4. Temp is ok , 74* for 20 mins. Just for experiment, afraid voltage degradation if I use it for daily.
