Hi,
It might be a dumb question. Time Machine works on HD3?
Thanks.

Hi, below are some of the list of improvements compare to the previous HD2 model
- Full 3D playback
- Faster UI
- Faster HDD scan
- Online Movie streaming with thousands of movie from PPTV, Funshion and more.
- Supports Online Subtitle download for your movie collection
- Built in Wi-Fi
- Full support of 3TB HDD.
Update:
- Added option to format the internal HDD to NTFS or EXT
I don't see PPTV and Funshion in my player. Do I need to update the firmware?
Can any of your player support external HDD 4TB?
Hi, we have not tested it with a full 4TB HDD. But the 4TB you have is a single HDD or combination of 2 or 4 HDD?
hello!
can you point me in the right direction to the streaming function guide for AC RYAN PlayOn HD3 ?
It is 1 HDD by itself.
Hi, External 4TB can be detected via USB connection. Not going to work if youre going to use it Internally or connecting it directly to the player.
Can this player play a MKV file with Dolby TrueHD? My current PV73100 could not extract the stream, it plays the MKV file without audio.
May I know is HD3 able to surf web and streaming web site like PPS etc?
My AVR can decode DTS-HD MA and Dolby TrueHD.
Downmix to stereo is merely a work-around solution. am referring to passthrough for all instances.
What I have asked about is a well known limitation of PV73100 - the Realtek chip inside was not licenced for Dolby TrueHD passthrough and hence there was never a firmware update to address this. Pls read the old AC Ryan forum about this limitation for PV73100.
I am assuming that you have used the PV73100 and know what is being referred to. I am on the final firmware version but this is not relevant to the query, those who have used PV73100 would understand this.
Hope to hear some useful info from the AC Ryan rep.
Hi, it does not have PPS but you can use other streams like PPTV, Fanshion, Youku and a lot more. It is also not through the website, its via the pre-programmed apps running on the player.
Hi, this could be to the chipset version of your Player. Dolby and DTS HD audio is supported by PV73100 with C+ chipset. Other than that an amplifier or AVR must have HDMI input to support this feature too.
