Anybody has problems streaming Netflix? Mine just gets stuck on loading after selecting a video.

I encountered SAFE MODE FIRMWARE FLASHING, PLEASE WAIT FOR A MOMENT over my tv. Did anyone encounter the same issue, how could this issue be resolved? Waited almost one hour still the same.

Just bought a veolo 4k at sim lim. My set can't seem to play AC3 sounds. I've used MX PLayer and also Video App but totally no sound. Only picture. Did I get a bogus set or what?

try different apps, vlc player can play.

try using kodi

Hi, got the Veolo today but sometimes the tv just went blank, even during playing or doing nothing,

1)Check your box HDMI resolution setting.
2)Check your box power supply.
3)Check your HDMI cable.

Seems like it's the HDMI cable, weird thing is I tried valor cheap ones, then Belkin and Sony but all have problem, but use the one provided by Ac Ryan then it's ok.

Veolo 4K used for 8 months

Mine is 8 months old, used this in a well ventilated surface and even put a small USB fan to keep it cool. However, suddenly last night when I am gonna use the unit, it suddenly experiencing restart loop with blank screen on the TV. Tried taking out the power and re-insert and even tried resetting (not sure if its the button below the unit) however, symptom still persist. Gonna bring this to the service center and hope it's due for replacement with new unit.

I purchased the Veolo 4K yesterday. I was previously using the Playon HD 3 Mini.

Is there a way where I can transfer/delete/edit files directly using my laptop? I used to access the hardddrives on my HD 3 Mini via FTP but I'm unable to do it here.

Do I need to download an app? If so, what app can you recommend?

you can clear the defaults on the current player that you have via teh Settings menu. Once you've cleared that, the next time you open or play a video, it'll ask you which app you want to use. You can select MX Video Player and then click on "Always"

It seems like the Veolo doesnt stream Netflix in HD? It seems like SD only.

1) The system turns off automatically or goes blank whenever a video is selected to play. Tried different HDMI cables (free ones included in my TV, a gold plated on bought from courts, and a 4k one but problem persist - so I guess cable is not the problem)

2) Some app prompt for update, and when update is selected, the system will go blank or turn off (more frequently observed) and will never be updated. After that normal use is impossible until I pull off the power cable for a few seconds and plug back

Want to check if there's any resolution so far, or is there any refund policy for this? This is not worth the trouble.

Choppy playback for ISO and FLV

Hi,

Anyone experiences choppy sound playbacks when player ISO video files and FLV videos ? I have tried running VLC and MX Player. It is still choppy. Firmware is already at v1.8.7.

Is there better video players ?

Is this worth the premium price compare to other $100 tv box?

have you tried updating the firmware? Te latest versionon the website is 1.8.7. When I bought the unit, it was running a beta firmware 1.8.8. I reverted it back to v1.8.7 and all seems well.
