Can I turn on the location services?

Yes you can.

• Using the VEO Navigator or mouse, position cursor at the top-right hand corner of your screen

• Click & hold onto the OK button, then drag downwards

• You should now see a menu that drops down

• Position mouse cursor over the "Location" tab

• Click & hold onto the OK button to turn "Location" on

The only I don't like is the mini HDMI 2.0 instead of normal HDMI 2.0 port. I can't even find any HDMI mini 2.0 cable on Ebay or Amazon. Other than that the box is working fine. Any recommendation AC Ryan?

Not that I know of, though the supplied 1.4a cable supports 4K resolution.

Perhaps you'd like to try using a HDMI Female to Mini HDMI Male adapter?

Bought this during the IT show on 29th May.
Pls advise why when streaming videos the screen jerks every few min (frame lag).
Use apps and SPMC has the same problem. My firmware is 1.71

I do not have this issue if I use the same apps on my MINIX X7 Pro.

Also, I experience sound distortion at times. Have to reboot the box to solve the problem.

If you are streaming from local network - we are able to stream even 45GB ISOs over just Wi-Fi with no lag.

Can I trouble you to visit our service centre and we'll have a look at your unit. Best if you can bring the file over too.

I am facing the same issue as Jeremy with my Pioneer amp. Even bought an optical cable to try the spif port but same problem i.e. have video but no audio. Reading up the forum and you will know that many are facing problem with this set. Really disappointed with the product which is not properly tested before launching into the market. And not to mention that I have bought two set.....

This stuttering issue is a system wide issue, no matter if you are streaming form local network, SPMC or apps like VST, PPTV.

Did a search on google and found that apparently this is an inherent problem with RK3288 chipset. You can know more about my issue by following this link:

1. Can all my movies (2000+) be stored in one folder? My question is whether there is a 'no. of files' limit per folder for the Jukebox to stream to my TV. My movies are stored in 1 big folder (over 2TB) on my home network. Would there be a lag or stuttering because the folder is so huge?
2. Can the Jukebox sort movies by ratings? Eg. G, PG-13, R, etc.
3. Can individual movies be locked with passwords?

Hi Im interested to get my hands on this product.

Basically im having ZERO knowledge on this product and what it does.

My friends keeps talking abt this product and also the MINIX,

1)Can I watch HBO,Cinemax,FOX movies and etc ?
2)Live soccer ( EPL,La Liga and etc.)
3)Whatever MIO Tv and Starhub channels can get?

I just setup my box yest. The firmware that comes with it is v1.7.1 and now I am doing the update of Firmware to the latest and see how is the process of the update of the firmware.

The part I will be most keen is the VEO Navigator app - navigate VEOLO 4K using your other Android devices as a touch pad as well as keyboard!

The upgrade of the firmware, the thumbdrive must really be totally empty and only contain the firmware. U need to go in to file explorer to see that your thumbdrive is empty. Once plug in the thumbdrive be patient as the top up take very long to come up.

do assist. i update the latest fw. once done, it asks me to deleter the file, i chose yet. goes to black screen. nothing loads up. rebooted, same thing. it auto launches youku but i can't exit or control anything. i don't wanna reset the box.

Hi ACeRyan, bought my Veolo 4k for about 6 months and 2 days ago, something went wrong with the home screen. Previously there were 5 or 6 apps added in the home page but suddenly all the apps added disappeared from the home screen. Tried adding the apps back to the home screen, but nothing happens. How do I rectify the problem?
