I am asking reasonably for a confirmed date of delivery, no later than when? In the IT show, they told me 1-2 weeks, I took the worst case of 2 weeks. Then when I called them to re-confirm the date, they told me by end of this month (Jun 2012).

Now, my question is how long is it going to be delayed? If ACR have no control on the release date, then can I take their words that by end of this month to deliver?

Next, what if they can't deliver by end of the month or another given date, can ACR refund the monies for my tablet and accessories (mobile charger, keyboard) I have bought during the PC shows?

I believe my request is a reasonable one, right ACR?

Yes, ACR should give us a dateline. They can't just say the tablet is delay. How would we know whether will they delay it until the YEAR END!!!!!!

I believe if they still can't deliver the tablet by this month end, ACR should allow us to cancel the order and get a full refund. It's not too much to ask, right?????

relax abit. Try dropping ACR a PM or give them a call. My reshell is stuck with null-audio for the 7th weeks now(when he told me it was 4-6 weeks) and they have not been replying my SMS. I know how you all feel when you're not given any datelines or replies frm the seller.

if you have pre-ordered this set then be patient a bit and wait for another week, sorry this had to happen. initially i wanted to buy AC Ryan during the IT show but once they told me is pre-order i went to buy the Samsung Tab 2 at Amazon which cost me US$249 plus US$16 shipping. it does not have HDMI out, but i don't mind.

i know AC Ryan tablet is cheaper, but i did not foresee it to have this shipping problem. hope this can be resolved quickly by next week, cheers.

ACR promised me 2-3 weeks and so, there 1 more week to go.

Not sure a refund would work out for me. The PC show is over and the promotions over. If refund, I may have to wait till the next show.

I also got the battery for the tablet. Have no other devices that needs to use this. So can I return this also if the worse case comes that I have to get a refund.

Battery is the issue in the eyes of the hk ica, comes to us not surprise if got problem. This very obvious,this ac ryan tab 7 cannot reach our shores by pc show hence they have to start fishing for confirm order as pc show is their best bet for launches

8GB = US$199 (to compete with Kindle fire)

16GB = US$249 (about the price of Samsung Tab 2 with 8GB)

Yes, I agree with stocklah...Please let us know if the stocks will be coming in by this week. You have mentioned that stocks are coming in within 2-3 weeks during the PC show. This is the 3rd week.

Do let us know if u have any compensation / refund in place if your stocks DO NOT arrive by the end of this week. Else I think we will have to escalate this matter.

Technology is too sensitive to change hence the further the stocks are delayed the more disadvantaged us consumers are positioned in.

This is an amicable request.

The stock will be here by Thursday night or Friday noon, if it comes on Thursday then Friday morning you will definitely hear a call from us for the delivery. I agree with the 16GB -> 32GB microSD. I will ultimately buy a 32GB card. Why not give a 32GB card ?

There is a thread "ViewSonic 7" Pad at $199 ?" saying that these tablets need to be IDA certified ? True ? If true, how we know if they are certified for sales in Singapore ? And whether the ACR model is certified.
