anyway to the fellow users who are going to update their firmware,

after u try to download, u wont see any progress bar, u need to press on the Online Upgrade button again to see the progress bar.

after u download finish, u Press the 'OK' button,

it will seem like the update has hang, but it hasn't...there wont be any loading bar, just wait for the Power Off notification (u dont have to press anything also) after that will see the android robot icon big big with loading bar below.

Any problems u encountered after the upgrade?

There should be no problem doing online upgrade as we tried it many times on our side. Please note first that before doing this upgrade, the battery is in 100% level or closer to that to be sure that the download, installation will not be interrupted and crash the system.

If in case your unit totally hang. Then my suggestion is to bring it down to our service center as you cannot anymore do online update and we can help you flash the firmware. Sorry for any inconvenience.

u mean using the Iphone's personal hotspot?

Just make sure the name u use for your iPhone be as simple as possible. Make sure u don't use any hyphen or apostrophe.

I have updated my firmware to the latest version 10 min ago.
What I can sense after the update are ...

1. New boot screen (Previously was black , now change to white and animated)
2. Touch sensor improve
3. Screen lagness is reduce (However during multiple installation or apps update, still can feel abit of lag *Think ACR can improve in the next firmware hopefully)
4. Wireless icon changes (Before, we can see the Wifi signal bar moving up or down, but after update, wifi icon does not have the signal bar *Wondering if it's design to be like that?)
5.Keyboard input sensor (Resolved)

Overall, think it really does improve in User function and sensor on both system and touchscreen.

*But got to con't to monitor first...
ACR: please advice on the wifi signal bar different.

Like writing to sd? Like the washed out areas ard the edges of the screen? What about battery life?

edges of the screen haf no issue compare to previous version.
Battery life is better to previous as well. Draining % is not as scary during the first attempt we saw.

As for writing to SD, i'm able to get my apps to be move to SD instead of tablet. Wonder is these the 1 u mention? hehe...

Do advice if any others bros know about tis...

There is no special settings and it can connect as we tried in all the three iPhone we have here in the office.

Some of them suggested to not to use special characters for the hotspot name and it works for them. Maybe you can try the same.

Thank you for your feedback. We will do more improvement on the firmware. For the Wi-Fi, the signal bar icon remains the same. They did also improved the Wi-Fi signal strength that is why most of the time the signal level is at maximum.

Unable to watch youtube video in portrait mode.

Also install and run Google Map, but it is unable to detect my current location.

Thanks ACR, i have successfully connect to my iphone hotspot. WONDERFULL.. Wifi signal strength indeed always stays at full bar. This firmware does boost and improve the wifi signal strength ... Hotspot signal also no issue.

ACR team, keep up this good effort... !!! Awaiting for the new firmware for bluetooth and others cool stuff...

O ya, ACR.. any update on the Case / Screen Protector ? Realli need a case to house this tab 7 ...

Bro, for the youtube portrait mode, I am able to watch, however it's not in full screen.

Google Map - I have the same problem unable to detect current location. But it's not really big issue compare those issue we have surface out previously.

*ACR, maybe you could enlighten us on this "Youtube in Portrait mode" and "Google current location detection issue".

i have updated to the latest firmware. Sad to say i still have the screen jumping around with the charger plugged in........
