Hi, this can be done by wireless. Just turn On the hotspot of your phone and connect the tab to it.

hi, apparently my iphone 3GS can only create hotspot either via usb cable or bluetooth... too bad then.... thanks anyway...

Bought it off Challenger and was running well with no probs on 1.1.3.
Tried updating to 1.1.6, which appear to be successful,

[Download 100% through my home wifi (with screen turn off set at 30min),
rebooted,
There's the android and a toolbar below it,
It rebooted agn after the installation]

but, it just remain stuck at the 'AC Ryan Tab 7' boot splash screen.

Wondering if many experience this too. Only solution would be to go down to the service center where the ppl there flash the firmware for me?

ACR, just now my screen flickers and goes into blackscreen mode after watching a video halfway. i had to force shutdown but when booting up, after it passes the initial bootup screen, it goes into black screen again and occasionally flickers with white blackground.

it has happened in the last few days, before this i did not try watching any video on it. i had to again restart the tablet but sometimes it will no boot properly into the home screen and it will flicker/white background with black random horizontal lines/black background totally.

may i ask the reason and can a software update fix it so i do not have to call your centre. i tried removing sd card and powering up when charging to a source but all to no avail. i have done this for about 15-20 times. thank you and for your reference.

edited - added pictures for your references. why is there spots left on some spot of the screen when touched for about 3-5secs and the super duper hotspot which i presume is the battery area that causes the set to 'hang' and goes into black/white background, occasionally flickering with contrasting horizontal bars.

Finally, somebody heard the static sound. I highlighted this in July but no other users faced this issue.

Hi from the images attached. I can totally say that you have a defective set. The black spots you mentioned and the exact location where it heats up according to you is almost on the same spot (front and back) which can possibly caused by solder connectors touching the back of the panel.

yes i have no choice but to call your center this afternoon and he recommends the same thing. however, i hope that even after a replacement, this issue or any other issues will not recur as its tedious to just go down for a replacement even though its free.
