Nope, I did an online demo for the newer syllabus and got 90% without studying fully...erms.. I mean I could actually correct the MCQ till I get the marks? Wow, is it so good? Why do ppl would want to take the paper based then?

Or did I actually make the mistake and even though I went to correct it, they didn't count in my marks?

not sure about the demo. but it is possible to get full marks for mcq whether for paper or cbe.

Hi everyone! I had recently graduated from a local poly, and currently awaiting NS.

As I read the past posts, I learnt that there are some who are working full-time while studying part-time, may I know whether does possessing skills (referring to the knowledge of using Accounting softwares, (MYOB, UBS, ACCPAC, etc.) very crucial in allowing one to land on a job?

Thanks for reading and taking time to answer my doubt! :)

is it possible/common to get more exemptions than what is stated on the ACCA website?(e.g a high GPA vs a low one). i just sent in my application and was hoping i'd be able to waive more modules

I would say depends, but definately a plus point to have.

I learn accpac from scratch for my current job and IQ dynamics from scratch for my previous. It really depends on your manager and your colicks.

Hello people! I intend to sign up for ACCA prep course with one of the institutions here. I understand that there are very varied views on which institution is better etc. I did some research but still.. I would like to know are there any distinct differences or notable ones or even personal viewpoints? :o Thank you for sharing! =:p

Also, I am looking to buy notes from F1 to F6. Looking to buy all 6 by this week. If selling, please pm price and condition. Thank you! :)

I would advise you to go for the lecturers with good track record rather than the school.. As good lecturers are spread across the different schools like SAA, Kaplan, LSBF, FTMS.

Depends on the subject you are taking.

Hi, is there anybody who's having troubles deciding whether to opt in for the ICPAS route? I know ICPAS route is probably better, but there are a few things i'm not clear about.

Can I become CPA Singapore with just ACCA certification with 3 years' experience? There wasn't much info on the ICPAS PE website, seems like they're revising the course or smthg like tt. =x
