if one grad from ACCA, I won't suggest the person to take up a degree in Accountancy.
No reason to have 2 certs (same level) in the same field.
A degree in Business or IT coupled with ACCA would be a good match.
actually i dun understand the role of accountant in IT, anyone can elaborate? when u mention business, which specific field of business u mean? does finance a good match of accounting?
finance and accounting can be linked. if u follow acca papers for example, F9 teach u how to calculate cost of debt and cost of equity to derive WACC. P2 teach u how to use cost of debt and cost of equity in the reporting. in a real finance field, if you know the statutory reporting requirements, you can better structure the finance.
like IDevil mentioned, if u equip urself with IT or biz degree, u can branch out to marketing, business consultant, business analyst or even SAP developer/trainer. not confining yourself to accounting field.
once i was interviewing at ACCPAC company with my lvl2 acca + IT related dip and they were very keen to hire me as their consultant to provide support to their client base but i rejected as there was a bond for 3yrs

Is this suicidal for a part timer?
F1 - self study, CBE ~Oct/Nov
F2 - school, CBE ~Nov/Dec
F3 - school, CBE ~Nov/Dec
F6 - school, Dec paper exam
I don't think u can take F6 without first passing F1-3.
