Congratz..!
can share some tips how you prepare for exam? especially P3
Always do a mind-mapping of the whole syllabus and read through prior to exam. Like this you will understand an overview and will not be overwhelmed by the subject. And also read the Qns 1st before you read the exam qns' scenario or mini scenario.
And for myself, attending classes is a must and make sure u grasp the principle/concept/model/understanding of the subject matter by the lecturer. U pay and make sure u get your $$ worth.
As I'm the lazy type, i only revise 2 weeks before exam. Spend max 3/4 days per paper. 1 day is used to read/revise the whole lecture notes (refresh) and for the next 2/3 days is to whack/re-do past year exam qns. (mainly those in class) So u will know the examiner's way of questioning and answering/scoring technique. And revise more on exam Qns that have not been tested recently.
And before i start my revision, i usually spend a few days to unwind(gaming/relax/laze around)myself from hectic audit work and be mentally prepared for self-crash course revision.
Hope these helps but dun be so laid-back like me, take 1 month leave to study, and spend 2.5 weeks play and only left 1.5 weeks to revise 4 papers. Hell...
For P3, do a overview of the main syllabus into
Strategic Position,
Strategic Choice and
Strategic Action. And also related chapters namely
IT/IS,
Biz Change Process, Quality, Project Mgt and
HRM plus some
financial like ratios, etc.
For each headings, list down and have an understanding of the model/concept/ideas so you will know the specific model to apply to the exam question and concentrate to answer what is required and expand your examples. As for the related topics in P3, Concentrate on those that have not been tested recently (Spotting of Qns, may backfired, but works for me from old syllabus 2.1 to P4 & P7)
Have fun studying!!
