I just wanna ask if the revision lessons for the P papers are really worth it, especially since I'm already taking the tuition lessons?

Hi guys,

I plan to study ACCA part time at Kaplan. May I know is it i MUST take Foundation in Accountancy (FIA) first before I allowed to start from ACCA F1, F2 and F3?
If I'm not mistaken I can ignore FIA and straight away sit ACCA exam from F1-F3 papers then continue F4-F9 right?

In my ACCA Portal i only can see that i can register FIA papers but not ACCA papers.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks.

Kaplan or LSBF

Hi all, I have been studying part time at kaplan from F papers to P1&2 now. Am considering whether to switch institutes for subsequent p papers, though i have not decided which of P4-7 papers to take.

Can anyone share with me their experience with LSBF for P4-7 in terms of course materials and lecturers please?

Thank you!

how to become CA after completing ACCA?

right now only SQP is the only official pathway to CA.

so you've gotta ask the national body, ISCA - they are in charge of this.

once you find out the objective criteria please share here too, as it will be important for students to know the difference between the curriculum/education framework :D

Is sqp better than Acca? I am comtemplating which to take. My understanding is that sqp is for Singapore context while Acca is internationally recognised so is better.

And for textbooks, which publisher is better?

Thanks!!:)

Youre right, it really depends if you want to work here or overseas. I would suggest taking the SQP first if you are still considering which to take.
