Hello, I’ve exemptions till f6. I’m planning to self study till f9. Is it recommended? I’m currently in national service so time isn’t in my favour. Will self study suffice or should I sign up for revision class atleast?

for someone like myself with limited budget and time, self study is pretty much the only option

in my initial few papers, i did buy extra notes and textbook from Kaplan/BPP... but in the end i didn't use them. The Acowtancy materials are good enough to pass. I did not use additional materials to prepare for my ACCA exams.

I have not yet attempted the P-papers. Having completed all my F-papers, i am currently working on the OBU degree.

I would like to ask this question..I am currently studying ACCA and have a UOL degree in accounting and finance. When I complete the CA and register with ISCA, can I still keep my ACCA membership?

Would appreciate any insight on this issue.

you will need to take extra 3 papers with ICAEW.

for MRA between ICAEW and ISCA, you must maintain both memberships.

All MRAs usually have validity of 5 years

It depends on in which country and which organisation will you be working. If you work in other country than SG or work in MNC companies then you should take INT variant. For me, I take INT in some papers like F7, ENG in F4, SGP in P7 as currently I am auditor in SG.

Really depends person to person. Your foundation tax, audit and FM grades are good indicators of your interest and capability!
