Hi, I have an enquiry. I just completed my F4, F6, P1 and P2 papers in June. If I fail my F4, can I register for P6 and P7 papers since I haven't attempted my P3 exam(P3 and F4 exam clash) & P6, P7 require to attempt P3 first.

The rule is that must finish knowledge(f1-f3), then skills(f4-f9), then essentials(p1-p3) then finally options.

I believe this rule is still applicable to exempted candidates even you might think of your case as a 'special' case.

If you fail F4, either new timetable or old timetable you also need another year to finish ACCA, that is the consequence of failing F4.

Under the old exam timetable, F4 is mutually exclusive with P7. So you can only do F4(re-take), with P3 and P6 and Lastly P7 Solo.

However, the timetable has been adjusted, F4 is mutually exclusive with P3. This means you can only spend next 6 months retaking F4. Finally, P3 P6 P7.

I think you have to be patient. The loading is a bit slow. I did the ethics module over a few days before finishing it. Reason being I was not patient enough to wait.

hi, I tried to do the professional ethics module recently but I noticed that there is a 'previous' button and 'continue' button. May I know why there is no respond when i click on the 'continue' button? and I totally stuck at there.

I understand but I'm quite budget cos I'm only taking 1 paper now so wish to take another P1.

Any more advise or tips?

hhmmm if you are taking class I honestly have not much advice to you. You however should grab hold of the exam questions and answers and keep doing them to get a feel of how the questions are asked and how to answer the questions. I felt it is important for self study students to really practice the questions over and over again. Do visit this website for exam tips: http://tarcafa.blogspot.com

However the tips only serve as a guide to what to focus on more. Ultimately trust the tips at your own risk. There are times I find it accurate but other times I find them not.

i signed up for their p6 class before exams but they send me any email. i even asked the admin staff during sign up and they know nuts! :( i seriously prefer BPP! cos GTG's qn and ans are a bit weird.
I think I have to agree with you about GTG books. I just got GTG study text. I feel odd to see such layout of questions and answers on GTG study text. I get an impression that the context is squeezed onto every page. BPP layout looks more professional and gives interesting key points about common mistakes candidates make.

for which paper?? if u go on and read it carefully, you'll realise the way they phrase the sentences are odd.

I have GTG study text for F5. I read first chapter. I notice that it attempts to explain each point outlined from the study guide provided by examiner in ACCA website. It is a big plus. Not much to comment about the phrasing of the sentences.

I can comment only if I get to see GTG study text for F7 since I know the syllabus quite well and has BPP study text for F7.

I'm also thinking of switching from Kaplan to LSBF, bcos of Sami.

What are the differences between these 2 schools? Does LSBF offers the oxford degree programme class, like Kaplan?
