Honestly speaking all can self-study, f1 is the most easiest like taking basic theory you can study for like 1mth than go for computer based exam, reaching 50m is not a problem.

f2 & f3 teach you those fundamental that is quite important in f5 & f7. Due to examination is multiple choice based 2-3mths can settled.

F4 got many things to remember and can be very tedious at time. If this is your first time taking law you may find some difficulties in understanding the concept and drafting the answer unless you got a good lecture note which I think will solve the problem. However on the bright side is that Law exam questions are very straightforward and it's quite repetitive with past papers.

Hey bros, I clear everything from F1-F8 and P1 but failed F9. Can still take P2 and P3? Thinking of clearing them both this June.

Also, can self study? Or too hard and should go for class?

Thanks in advance!

you will need to take F9 together with p2 and p3 in the same sitting.

I would recommend that u go for class for p2. p3 maybe still can self study since it is mostly theory. but you need to know the technique of answering the questions

Hey guys, I'd like to attend ACCA part time courses. I was given a choice between kaplan and SAA, since they are the only two platinum tuition providers of ACCA.

1) Would you recommend taking all 3 papers (F1 to F3) at one time or lesser? (I'm a guy with no basic accounting background, though I've read some accounting books on my own.)

2) Which school would you recommend? (Kaplan or SAA or even others) Kindly include the lecturer that you'd recommend for each individual course (F1 to F3).

Thanks for e feedback, if possible.

ACCA and ICPAS PE

I am exempted from F1,F2,F3,F7 and F9. I intend to take F4,F5,F6 and F8 for the June exam and study full time with kaplan/lbsf/saa ( havent select lecturers yet). I also intend to take as many ICPAS PE units as possible for the coming May exam.

Anyone know if the ACCA prep courses are sufficient for my ICPAS PE exams? I want to avoid attending ICPAS PE prep course if they are of duplicated content with ACCA prep course.

Another question is that I took Financial Reporting for my UOL exam and got distinction for it. But ICPAS doesn't exempt Financial Reporting so I have to take that paper. Is it recommended that I take the prep courses for ICPAS PE Financial Reporting?

Dear all,

I'm under ICPAS plus route. Can I opt out to subscribe ACCA membership solely, and re-subscribe ICPAS membership when I completed ACCA qualification?
