anor time i was at yishun.. it keep asking me to log in like every 20 mins

Anyone encounter flaky wireless (at home, not wireless@sg)?

Have to toggle the wireless switch to reconnect every now and then, and in extreme case (so far only happened once), have to power down the netbook and then turn it back on (warm reboot doesn't revive the wireless - i.e. it doesn't even appear in device manager)

hi just a few question....
1) I noticed that when i change the brightness of my AAO lcd, i can't see the brightness level indication as compared to the volume indication that appears green at the bottom of the screen. Is this normal???

2) And how many levels of brightness are there? I only noticed like 5 levels but when i press the fn+right arrow from the lowest level, i need to hit the right arrow 5 times before i get the 2nd level of brightness.

3) Do i have to register for the warranty online?

Hope u guys can enlighten me on these issues. Thanks alot!

you might want to take a look at armourone's product, i used to buy from him. Skins & service are good.

I got some pics from his thread:

The skins cover the surface, hinge, palm rest and some other areas, all are precisely cut out by machine. Got customized TPU keyboard skin also.

Yo. THe acer aspire still not cheap in sg as compared to OZ. Here in OZ the AOA110 model is selling at A$399 bf rebate. After rebate its only A$340 only, comparing OZ and sg dollar the same, its so much cheaper. If ya got friend in OZ or traveling to OZ can ask them to buy for ya.

Posted this in another thread but since it fits my acer aspire one i shall post it in this thread too. Enjoy them....u can get it for $16 as a challenger members and $19 for public. SLS got alot of similar looking ones going at $9.90 but the material for the cheaper ones are thinner and lousier.

hi just like to find out from u guys if u all had registered your AAO on the acer website? I checked the warranty status of my unit on the website and realised that the warranty has been activated by acer themselves. Is it still necessary to register our unit on the website? Does it add any additional benefits?

driver for my sound for acer one

hi bros here, sorry as the thread is too long, thus dun know if this question is been post before. i have successfully convert from acer 1 from os linux to xp but, i short of all the drivers. most important is the sound driver. i down loan from acer official site but it was found to be corrupted during the unzip. any one advise any web to down loan a workable driver for my acer one 110.
