how long can the new 6cell battery last?
i went over to Suntec City the level where there are alot of shops selling laptops and computer stuffs, one of the sales guys told me last 3 hrs.
Other online reviews put it at 5.5hrs .. a range of 4-6hrs ..
any users here care to verify?

About 5 and a half hours on full charge. I am a new Aspire One user, got the six cell version at Sitex. 3hrs I think he referring to the 3 cell version lar...

Nope...in fact most netbks dun come with the os installation CD.

hi just like to find out from u guys if u all had registered your AAO on the acer website? I checked the warranty status of my unit on the website and realised that the warranty has been activated by acer themselves. Is it still necessary to register our unit on the website? Does it add any additional benefits?

Posted this in another thread but since it fits my acer aspire one i shall post it in this thread too. Enjoy them....u can get it for $16 as a challenger members and $19 for public. SLS got alot of similar looking ones going at $9.90 but the material for the cheaper ones are thinner and lousier.

hi bro, if the acer one come with 3 cell battery, will this casing be too big? mine is orginal 3 cell batt not 6 cell. thus worry it might be too loose for my acer one 110.

yes i will think it might be a little loose, u can try the 7inch version too....dunno if it will be too small or just right.

Actually the case is for 3 cells battery. 6 cells is a litle tight.

Had an AOA150 from comdex since September and upon switching on, power light is green but monitor remains blank!!

nope the 10inch case i got is originally for the eeepc1000h. There is also a 7inch but its meant for eeepc700. So just bring your aspire one down and do a comparison. I ask them to open up and let me try and they actually do. So challenger isnt too bad i guess.

did u try updating your bios before and it failed? It seems like a bios problem to me. Most likely got to send it to the service centre already.

Did not try to do any updating. It simply failed to boot up when I try to switch it on. It was last used the previously day.

Are there any memory cards inserted or USB devices attached? If so, do remove them before attempting to boot.
