Been enjoying every moment with this monitor. Truly one of the best monitors out in the market today.

Replaying old games just to experience the full IPS 27inch QHD 144hz glory!

But damm is this monitor blindingly bright!

The blue light filter function is nifty but it just spoils the colours which is the whole point to a IPS monitor.

What do you guys have for your Brightness / Contrast setting?

For me, all I did was change the Colour Temp to
User
R Gain - 90
G Gain - 90
B Gain - 100

Then increase Saturate to 110.

Brightness - 7
Contrast - 50

hi guys, just a question..ever since i have this monitor..not really sure whether gsync is working or not..so...just wanna have a checklist that enable game in gsync:

NVIDIA Control Panel:
1. Set up G-SYNC set to enable G-SYNC
2. Change resolution to 2560x1440(native) with 144 refresh rate
3. Manage 3D Settings; Global Settings - Vsync On

In Game:
1. Vsync off

thats it right? anything i miss? been trying to play old games..but doesnt seems to provide buttery smooth as shown in some video (even 60fps video is smoother than what i see in this monitor) :s22::s22:. mayb it is buttery smooth and im just paranoid :s22::s22:

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to disable V-sync (not enable it) everywhere, both in the nvidia control panel and in-game. Although I think disabling it in the nvidia control panel usually overwrites the in-game V-sync setting.

Give it a try, that may be the reason GSync isn't working properly for you.

Turn off V-Sync. Then use Nvidia's G-Sync indicator or the monitor's "Refresh rate num" under OSD menu. If G-Sync is enabled, the "Refresh rate num" will show the instantaneous refresh rate, else it will just show "144".

i read somewhere the vsync in control panel only "activated" once the refresh rate go over the monitor limit...so activating it in control panel is ok..just not in-game.

but will try the method tonight. thanks guys! :s12:

Bro you paid a cool premium for that piece of hardward build into your monitor. Say bye bye sayonara to V-Sync!

twlee88 is correct. v-sync on in global settings, because this will cap max FPS at 144Hz. if you don't cap at monitor's limit, at FPS higher than monitor's limit may result in tearing.

lolololol, if you don't turn vsync on you'll exceed 144fps and would result in tearing, no matter if your monitor is gsync.
for gsync to work properly you must turn on gsync and vsync from nvidia cp, and vsync off from game...

Personally I think using a framerate limiter like RTSS to limit frames (less than 144fps) is a better option than handing control back to V-Sync when/if the framerate exceeds the monitor's max refresh rate.

Unless you have superhuman eyes that require more than 144fps to enjoy your gaming experience.

Trying to decide between this and the predator x34..

If you play AAA games and have at least a gtx980ti, get x34 (most AAA games very hard to climb more than 100fps at max settings..)

If you playing older FPS or FPS that can run 144fps or higher get xb271hu :)

thanks for the advice. i play alot of chapalan games from BF4 to POE to Terraria. most games dont require really require high fps.

144fps vs 100fps is it a big difference when u actually look at the graphics of the games?

Careful about X34. I just posted my problem with X34.

One thing to take note which salesman don't highlight. It is UP TO 100hz, bo bao 100hz.
