This is my old acer monitor screen, VA screen (I took the photo backwards, the blue color thing is actually the turn on button). Pure IPS glow, zero backlight bleed (at least not that I can see). If you tell me backlight bleed is not a return policy, then I can only say consumers should expect a certain quality control, and selling them this level of BLB is not acceptable.

This monitor's IPS glow is pretty strong and it's time for a change. My XB271HU has really nice blacks and crisp colours, but every time I look at the corners I feel really irritated.

In any case I'll draft an email and see what hachi tech's response is first.

I need some advise on how to calibrate though... like make it all same blue and den adjust... But I am not sure where to even start.

Bro Gatt,

Look for X-rite colormunki or i1Display Pro on Amazon.

But after calibration, one part should look whiter than the other, I think. Panel uniformity issue; can't do much.

Unless you RMA till you get the perfect one. Or get the Delll 4K 120Hz OLED panel. :D

Connect the USB 3.0 cable that is provide at the back of the monitor and the end to your mobo USB 3.0 port.

Won't dare to buy because don't know the batch. :o

I had Acer replace mine once and then they took it again for the firmware update, haven't had an issue since *knocks on wood*.

I was the first to order this panel in SG and I'd happily do it again, if you just keep waiting, there's no end and something better will always come along :)

I ordered from Hachi Tech on Sep 8, after a super long wait and complaint, I receive it today after they delivered. February batch 2016.

This is so WTF. It's a ton of backlight bleed and not IPS glow right?

I took this photo with my LG G5, 200 ISO, shutter speed 0.8.

Need to return right?

Will it go off when viewing at different angle?
If it will then it is just ips glow

Maybe you can read out more here
