just want a smooth game play. not familiar with monitor. kindly please enlighten me:)
Hi bro u might wanna state ur gpu, size of monitor u looking at, resolution u looking at also.

Basically fps game nowadays I think at least 120hz and above for smoother gameplay.

1080p / 24" / 120+hz / TN panel = most competitive gamers used. Budget friendly + does not require powerful gpu. Sacrifices color accuracy and viewing angle though.

thanks for your input.
looking for a bigger screen monitor and can last me for few years. think 27' just nice. budget wise below 900. currently using GTX980. since my GPU is not powerful enough, would this G SYnc benefits me or BenQ monitor is better for me?
resolution i am not very sure, but mainly to play PUBG only.

another monitor i am looking at is Dell S2716DG which is a TN panel with almost the same price..

G sync benefits when your frames is lower than your refresh rate so yeah you should benefits from this. I rather go for this monitor than dell coz I love ips color.

I remember I saw that it was proven that there is input lag for high fps games when gsync is on. They did a test. I tried and experience it myself too. Yes the game is smooth but shots don't register properly.

Have you bought the BenQ DyAc monitor? There is literally no difference in terms of motion clarity even with DyAc on or off. lol
Comes with worst colour reproduction and extra blurriness due to low resolution.

Signal lost meaning your screen suddenly turn black? Does your pc still function( like u plug out/in the graphic cable, does signal comes back?) or your pc hanged during the blackout.
Maybe is not your monitor but your pc having black screen of death. U go google abt this.

Does this only happen during gaming? What about normal usage such as youtube, surfing net?

I suspect PSU might be the issue here, supplying nt enough power to gpu when gaming.

It's already almost the end of May and we can finally see the true 4K 144Hz with 10-bit HDR at 1000 nits of brightness display Monitor come soon. But only to reviewers like Linus unfortunately. :s22:

At least its a first step done with reviewers receiving it. Once done, makers shld be launching them into the market few weeks after that.

But, the price tag of $2000 sgd is way too much for a monitor. Still have to invest in gpu to support 4K 60fps gaming at least.
