I remember I took me ard 20-25 minutes to walk along Jln Burma before turning to Jln Penang and then KOMTAR for my bus ride to Airport.Did you sprint from Tune hotel to Komtar??How did you manage to walk in 12 mins!??
I was desperately looking for a money changer (because the moneychanger at tune is gone) and I remembered i walked for 20 mins and gave up. Ended up taking a cab
I still can't figure out how to take the bus. I've got afew routes that I constantly use:
1) Sungai Nibong bus terminal to Burma Rd ( Tune Hotel)
2) Airport to Burma Rd

Hi. Has anyone rented a car in Penang and drove around the island on their own? Any experiences to share? Thinking of renting a car there and traveling around on it. Is it a good idea?
From Sungei Nibong Bus Terminal How do i go to Mingood Hotel ? Anyone can help ? As i on budget would like to know what bus go there ? Anyone can help ? Brothers out there your help will be apprciated.
PG drivers and motorcyclists are the craziest.not bad, i rented one from e airport when i was there in march. rather easy to go around. if scare just rent a gps as well. Parking are rather plentiful but travel out early. if u drive often in singapore you shld be fine, driver there are more relax i guess. but watch out for e bikes, they are crazy.
