If you are a nature lover, you can visit Penang National Park, Tropical Spices Garden and Tropical Fruits Farm. If you bring kids with you, you may also consider Butterfly Farm (the largest butterfly farm in Southeast Asia). To visit Tropical Fruits Farm, you may stop at Balik Pulau for Penang assam laksa which is quite famous in Penang island. Dinner at Ferringhi Garden or the Ship and follow by night market in walking distance.

If you want to spend your time in Bayan Lepas, you may visit War Museum, Snake Temple, seafood lunch in Teluk Kumbar and shopping in Queensbay Mall before you leave Penang.

Hope this helps.

you can consider go ayer itam dam. there is a small trail surround the dam you can walk. imagine macritchie reservoir. this is just further up the hill behind key lok si.
if u have time, from kek lok si, u can drive down to balik pulau too,

from penang hill side, u are close to sulfolk house. it is a refurbished colonial house. u can consider have hi tea there. many mosquitos though.

penang small airport, no need to spend so much time there. if u return car at airport, then maybe consider have dinner at bath maung then go airport. you can also spend time at queens bay mall area too. do some shopping. then eat at the kapitan restaurant (indian food) across the road.

just some things off the top of my head. hard to suggest without knowing what are the kind of things you like to do.

To enjoy Penang Hill, one may consider go in the evening before the sunset. You can stay until night time likes 8pm. From sunset to night time, you have different view of George Town. Night time, the city lighting is more gorgeous. Visitors normally take the night view.

If you are more adventure type, you can consider hiking to Penang Hill. There are few trail entrances likes Penang Botanical Garden, Moon Gate, Youth Park and etc. It costs you nothing but your own energy.

in that case, u can consider go sulfolk house for hi tea, you can also have hi tea at E & O hotel, Living Room @ Macalister Mansion. all quite nice places.

then shopping you have queens bay mall, gurney plaza, gurney paragon, 1st avenue, etc

if they are looking more for super markets, you can go Tesco, Giant or Sunshine.

If you want to have tea/high tea in Penang,

One of the cheap option is Winter Warmers Tea House.

Got many outlets all over the island.

Think elsewhere in Malaysia also have but seems to have more in Penang.

Got multiple types of tea/coffee to choose from and got nice sandwiches, cakes, pastries etc.

street wall aets and 3d museum are located in george town core and buffer zone. free shuttle bus is available.

for butterfly farm, batu ferringhi night market, it takes about 30 - 45minutes in normal traffic from george town. gurney drive is about 15 minutes. Hope this help.

penang not very big, most people stay in george town as more hotels are there, but you can stay other locations as well.
are all the street wall arts and 3d museums in Georgetown?
yes, the popular ones are all around there, although there are now more and more new ones popping up here and there, u have to roam around to find. 3d meusum is opp Jetty. but i feel there are better 3d museums out there.
is it far to get to the Penang butterfly park, gurney drive and batu ferringhi night market?
how much will taxi cost?
gurney just beside george town, the rest is quite far off, if u take taxi, it will be expensive and no guaranty there is taxi to take you back. those places, u can consider take bus or rent car or get a driver. more economical

you know only a portion of the show is filmed in penang right? they also filmed in KL and the paddy fields and beach side all not in penang.

thanks all, for the show i only know it's Penang bcos of the wall art.. the rest i not sure if they filmed in KL etc.. how about the durian farm? it's also in Penang right?

but if i am going with 2 kids (<5yo) + 2 adults, do i need to book 2 rooms? bcos i see from the hotel website, most only allow 2 adults per room and max 1 child with extra bed.. but if usually small children, the hotel allows to stay in one room at most with extra bed surcharge, can anyone advise?
