3D2N in Penang

Anybody can suggest a 3D2N itinerary.

Or what to not miss out other than the street food!!!

Planning to stay at Traders Hotel. They have got free wifi right?

Continental, I don't think you will like it. Cititel is good enough, royal is convenient if you have car but it's still near new world park for foods and that area, taxi is available easier tho. The area where Royal is located is always busy.

Yes. Public transport is not that convenient I would say.

Wifi is widely available in Penang not to worry about.
Maybe try Penang Hill as they improved alot and a new owl museum.
Don't know if you'll like street art but these places are worth for visit and it's a hit in Penang now.

Many small boutique cafe around the area, have a walk around the heritage buildings, China House and Chai tiam ma , moontree 47 are one of those ....

Haha guess not, tell me what you looking for maybe I could tell you cuz I'm from there. It may be a lil confusing certain place but it's ok.

Parking is not easy to find, most of the streets in Georgetown are one way streets. Motorbikes very "hiong" one.

Maybe try Penang hill as the new tram is pretty ok compared to the old one. As I said check those street art and near little India, the nyonya house called "green house" , macalister road for foods, if you're driving, head to Hai Boey or Ocean green, but Bali hai at Gurney drive got good food and some higher end seafood but price is a little high, to tell you first if looking fr cheap seafood. There's a cheap zhi char right opposite Penang Jetty terminal, called "tree shade" just right under the bridge and tree. Song River serves good lunch as well at gurney drive, pretty busy.
Straits Quay is fairly a new hangout spot, maybe for dinner and chill out. I would suggest if you try out Nasi Kandar Kayu in Penang, if you like mamak food, not as common in Singapore.
I like new world park in the afternoon and red garden for night. As opposite red garden on Upper Penang road, there's famous Malay burger just outside Soho bar...
For cheap shopping, Prangin Mall but abit complicated tho, jut next to Traders hotel. There's lotsa food nearby traders.
Shuttle bus, I'm not sure but depends where they go, maybe you should if you have time. Tropical Spice garden is ok , can try. Maybe head to batu ferringhi at night for night market and hard rock hotel or so.....

It's not super crowded as before as the tram moves alot faster and no stops in between so it shorten the time, and there's a new owl museum nearby as well. It's purely for view for Penang hill. Since shuttle bus is free just go as you don't have to drive haha. Gurney drive is ok but more authentic ones are spread out.... Night market for foods are only available weekdays at Farlim if not mistaken not weekends. Batu ferringhi is cheap stuff and hawker, maybe you should just go have a stroll, then hotel hopping haha.

Would like to explore Penang, is 4 nights stay too long for a Penang trip? will it be better to rent a car and drive around or take their RAPID bus good enough to explore for the 4 nights trip?

It all depends on where you want to go as rapid may not be as convenient but still workable I guess. But driving in Penang may save you alot of time from bus I guess. 4 nights is more than enough I would say, you might also be able to pop by at hatyai Thai for a day trip as well

I would go for smart or best as best have IDD rates which I think it's cheaper and I think for data you can get rm15 for a week which is like 500mb if I'm not mistaken for all prepaids.... The smart is quite ok but depends on your usage
