AE Aego-M User Official Thread!

hi bros, i'm using a set of Aego 2 speakers but my subwoofer the control volume knob got problem...
at the softer volume settings (via the volume knob) the sound produced from the satellites only 1 side can hear and the other side slightly muffled... i'm thinking it's the connection issue of the subwoofer bcos at higher volume there isn't such an issue.

How or where can i go to repair this ah? do i need to bring my satellites along or just bring the subwoofer?

just get the aegos first. then decide later if u need to change cables & blah blah...

Thinking to get 1 of these, but the problem for me now i have PS3 and PC

my PC set up is ONKYO SE-90PCI (i know its old but i think this card is still good)

So now my dilemma is : how to connect those 2 "input" (PC : RCA and Optical while PS 3 also the same) to 1 speaker set.

At first my thinking is to get behringer MS40 since this speaker is providing the most complete set of input among all the speaker i have read/watch and hear.

Kindly let me know is my thinking here is correct or not....i really wants to get this AEGO M but what to do with all the "inputs" that i have now.

Ya leh, not like last time cheaper. ): I think CE sells it 'cheapest', KEC is more expensive. Depending on your skills and their mood, you might be able to bargain a bit, but not much.

Perhaps you can say that good things last even the price I bought mine for 250 too but that was 9 months ago. So yeah so many good reviews about this speakers, no wonder the price maintains quite well.

supposedly CE sells the cheapest. the lowest was $250 from CE i saw quite some time ago. agree with icheb; good reviews price will maintain. anyone who got aegos below 299 had the best deal of their lives! lol.

hi bros.i managed to finish reading all the 40 over pages till now .

i have been using AE Aego M (BLACK)speakers since 2yrs + back .bought it at adelphi back then .
about 2mths back , i sold away my Black aego M speakers as i changed most of my desk items to white.and bought a white aego M from city eletronics at around $280.

i am currently using Aego M (white) with my Onkyo SE200 LTD sound card.
the interconnect cable that i uses are stock cables from my onkyo sound card(transparent cables with red /white rca).

as for the speaker cables i am still using stock from the Aego.

and after reading up alot of posts from fellow bros/sis here, sort of tempted to change to better interconnect and speaker cables.
and also reading up from lowyat and here , i see there are ways to mod the input capacitor .

so now , would like to ask , any fellow bros here wants to meet up and head down to SLT to get custom cables together and see if can get better pricing??i might wanna see if any shops got sell the stated capacitors and provides service to solder and mod it for me.

haha this few days no pm no nothing and today i happened to around SLT area and had 2 hours to kill.so i went there to see see look look

end up i got the belden cables and canare rca for my interconnect .not sure what model but the rca is $7 per piece and the cable stated something like "flex video or something like that "cable is $4 per meter.

as for the speaker cable its the one which is $3 per meter with canare F "something"10 for the rca .
