Don’t same different platform, if let’s say you used your Shopee coins to change for a Agoda voucher, you click through the link on Shopee, the price end up after the voucher is still more expensive than buying directly from Agoda App.

Their pricing strategy is very shady. Got to do your homework to get the best deal.

Has anybody tried to book hotels at Trip.com ? Seems it’s a China-based website. So far I only use them for hotels in China? Thinking of using them for my Japan trip.

I used Trip.com SG site to book 2 hotels for my recent Hokkaido trip. No issue.

Their Cust Svc was also prompt in responding my questions.

If still scared, can email hotel to confirm ... it may take a few days for booking to be accepted by hotel ... I did for one higher value hotel.

I'm a VIP member of Agoda but I think overall, their service has gone down the drain.

Oh, why so?
