should be. It was recommended for air purifiers to have HEPA. Had been using one with HEPA. my sinus, runny nose now not as many as it was before
Great....another one more up point in the bag for HEPA effectiveness. Most of us have experienced this and read a lot on qoo10 reviews. Though still considered weak/unreliable anecdotal evidence, it's still cool as we can't do randomised clinical trials (RCTs) anyway, which is the gold standard.
BTW, these allergens/"particulate matter" is much larger in size than haze, absolutely no issue even with "unbranded Taobao HEPA". ie really unbranded stuff, not your XM or Mfresh, TCL, Midea filters even.
No qualms from me in running them and changing them twice a year, other than some slight complaints about having a slightly smell, and maybe a bit of formaldehyde outgassing from the glues in the initial few days (just air it good without pax in the room if one is ngeow and raise the temp of the HEPA in the sun as that increases the outgassing rapidly, electrical costs are negligible vs filter savings).
