Just read around, you'll see that different manufacturers make different claims from 2 years to 10 years (e.g. 3M quotes 5 years for their respirator filters), assuming storage in original sealed packaging, stable climate controlled conditions and no exposure to extreme temp or humidity.

would like to seek your expertise in sourcing. For AP-777 model, do you know of any cheap replacement for the HEPA?

i.e. for Novita 611i, I could get from TB the HEPA replacement for SKG JH4053

My PM2.5 readings also show 0.

For odour removing, I think maybe not as effective / fast as my other old AP? Just my own personal feeling. Might not be accurate/true (This was experienced when my doggie went poo poo in the living hall).

But to be fair, I'm using the default blue filter and not the Hi density green color filter.

I bought at Taobao, same as some of us here. This particular one is called B4. There are several recommended / preferred types mentioned in last year here. Forgotten which link. I think the exact link is in the old thread.

Alternatively can do a quick search "B4 pm2.5" in Taobao.

Get the 百姓 HEPA from TB. That one is 300mm x 300mm x 25mm, then cut/stuff to your heart's content. Probably would work, I don't have the AP-777 with me, it's at my in-laws.

This year's haze is 99.9% not expected to be bad. So absolutely no issues at all.

PMed ya bro..... have 2 spare original filters. But i don't have the boxes already, though my spare plastic packaging indicates Sharp A40 H13 (my own reference marking which i wrote then), so you need to double confirm the dimensions.....lest i make mistake as it's been a while since i bought them (plastic bag is 100% intact and sealed so no worries and you can verify with your current filter too with regards to markings etc.)

Currently as many would know, some of us are using the china Taobao HEPA filters, which are a lot cheaper with a fair drop in performance....to keep costs down.
