So I bought a purifier 3H from Mijia roborock or some say minihelpers is the same one from qoo10. They delivered the 3H but not the extra antibacteria hepa filter since Oct 15. Has been 1.5 months, despite chasers keep saying, arriving this week, 2-3 days delivery and not delivered all the time. Anyone encountered this issue? Is it easy to get a partial refund for the filter from Qoo10, or will they step in? Or anyone knows the IMM physical store locations? Or any advise how to proceed?

Can air purifier get rid of food odour?

I want to place one in my kitchen to get rid of raw garlic smell as my dad drinks raw garlic with water everyday and I cannot stand the smell of garlic mixed with water.

Which filter allows filtering of food odour and smells? Does the black one work better than the green one? Or is the anti bacterial purple more suitable?

Those filter with charcoal should help to reduce odour. How effective is another question.

If I don’t have any allergies or sinus issue, is air purifier still recommended? If yes, where do you guys usually place it ?

Will you really feel the difference after using it ?

Am thinking of getting one but don’t know if wanna place in living room or kitchen. Am looking at the Philips series 800bot or xiaomi

you can try putting an air purifier near your table. in my case, the dust is lesser compared to other surfaces

don't open the window when the air purifier is running ... it will instead pull more dust to your room
think some ppl mistaken it...

I think air filter should not be placed near where you will be most of the time eg table or bed. Further away or opposite would be better.

can I check that it is not recommended to place air purifiers with its back against the wall and to have some distance in between?

Wanted to place against the wall as if I need to allocate some space between the wall, it will look out of place and my robovac will keep hitting it

Yes, you'll need a gap between the air purifier and the wall. Either that or turn the inlet facing outside. It will look funny but it will work better without having the gap.

Saw Mi Air Purifier Pro H at one of the physical mi store (authorised reseller). Sooo big. Filter also bigger. :s22: :s13:

No exposed fan blades seen. Pro: No prone to dust accumulate on fan blades. Con: But filter is bigger. That means can no longer use existing filters which are interchangeable for older versions - gen1 to pro.

If u get Xiaomi ones, I think no problem as it's air intake is by 4 sides.
If the traditional samsung ones, it is by its back.

thinking of novita now cause xiaomi while cheap and good, the sensor seems to be the problem. if air is bad, the xiaomi can clean it no problem but when air is average, think the auto settings will decide air is good enough and doesnt go full blast. so to me seems like xiaomi will only operate at standby mode most of the time since our air is generally clean

I always use favorite setting instead of auto mode. I feel those purifiers auto mode “literally useless/weak” in my situation. Just my own opinion/preference.
