pardon my ignorance. I thought the Indo army is helping to put out the fire and there's also water-bombing done? Why isn't the situation getting better?

Is it due to the area is too huge for them to contain the fire?

Most of the fire is not cause my dry season....is cause people burning their plantation for cost saving. if the burner kena caught, they will give the official some bribery money.

Hi all...just ordered the Samsung ax40 online.
However, when my colleague saw the spec, he mentioned that it is not a true hepa AP.
Is it true?

I not sure where he see the specs....but from my side....it is true hepa.

I also saw the true hepa diagram. My colleague is referring to the specification in your screenshot under the header: air purifying - filter: hepa

He told me that there is a difference between hepa and true hepa filter.
So I'm also confuse..

'true hepa' is a marketing term

a filter tested for HEPA standard, meaning they must be able to stop 0.3 at 99.97%

and den they are classified under their retention.
class 10 / h10 = stops 85%
class 13 / h13 = stops 99.95%

for my knowledge, true hepa filter meaning it is real hepa filter that can capture 99.97% of airborne particles that have a size of 0.3 µm.

Going to install Aircon in near future..should I just install AC with air cleaning features now or just get air purifier? Which is more efficient?

Thank you! :o

most likely the 'air cleaning feature' will be an ionizer

Is it due to the area is too huge for them to contain the fire?

as others stated... when they put out some fires... others start new ones... They are determined to clear even larger land for more planting...

Or they are determined to cripple their healthcare system.

Or they want break records of PSI levels to above 2K or more.

Or they want kill all living things there.

Or they enjoy seeing others suffer even their own people.

Maybe they want one shot burn all the areas that have trees so next yr no need clear land this way :(

Thanks for the prompt reply and clarification.
For the ap40 is it class 13?
My colleague got me confused with the true hepa thingy.
Thanks in advance...

Guys so out of so many brands and models, It's recommended to get Samsung ax40/41 right? lg and others not so good?

Anybody have both models AX40 and LG 379? Can share which one? Lol undecided now. Currently have one LG alr

Samsung AX40 (Qoo10) / AX41 (local retail)
- quiet
- low power
- only High speed practical (low/sleep/auto airflow not sufficient)

LG LA-Q379 (Qoo10) / PS-R459 (local retail)
- low power
- larger HEPA media
- Turbo is noiser than AX40 but otherwise ok
- Turbo and High speed useable (low/auto airflow not sufficient)

Paging WussRedXLi... he got both, maybe can elaborate more

Thanks for the reply... Yup I also don't understand why my colleague say that it is not true hepa when the diagram indicate it.
