Air purifier?

Those air purifier that uses water not effective at all?

Air purifiers main points are filters it uses and airflow efficiency. Ionizer and everything else is extra.

Yeah, i got mine from daiso of qoo10.sg too. Waiting for delivery. I got mine when they having time sales at 244.90, then plus extra filter at $78, plus $15 shipping, and use $5 shop coupons, in the end pay $332.90 for the unit.

My Samsung finally arrived yesterday, put it up, running at high, my wife and baby, both shallow sleepers, cannot heard anything. It's more quiet than the aircon. Glad I make this investment. Thanks for bros WRX and Chuanz for all the useful tips and info.

On theory, "air scrubbing" do work but on practical use,It don't work. And the reason why the water turn chalky is due oil essence. Like they said "Revitalizing Air purifier"

Yup those type. I dunno how they work since they don't seems to have any fliter. But I saw a video that it's able to clean the smoke of cigarettes. Good point is they can use essential oil to smell good haha

First night review of the Akira Air Purifier. At max setting, sounds like typical fan low-med speed setting. Parents commented they did not cough last night and did not feel any giddiness or headaches. Importantly, there was no burning smell from the haze also. Looking good so far for a $149 AP. Going to get extra filters tonight in case the current haze is the calm before the storm. Fyi, the filters are rated at 14 months according to their tests.

Not useful for 2015 strong el nino season. Neither is 3M Filtrete.
But as additional support to your air purifuer, yes.

For 2014 season, yes.
