Below 24h PSI 65 or 78, corresponding to 24hr 25 ug/m3 and 35 ug/m3 respectively. I would recommend 24hr PSI 65 esp for those at risk.

And no, those are not low numbers.

Actually every year, when do those jokers stop this nonsense huh? As in, how come they don't burn whole year round (I mean, of course I don't want them to burn all year round, I just wanna know when they can't do it)?

Can't burn in the wet season... That's why.

There is a LG LAQ379 at 278 sent with Fed Ex if you need it quick.

About 3 to 4 days quicker than EMS....but must chk if seller able to send immediately.

Both the big LG and Samsung are excellent machines. V little difference in real life usage, performance and "feel", if any.

LG no original LG filter replacement though, never go search properly. But no issue, TB HEPA 45mm perform at wee bit higher 10% higher airflow than original. Whereas AX40 is a wee bit lower at abt 10% even if use 45mm. (Both machines' filter size and wattage/motor are somewhat different).

Still, in real life, the difference is ug/m3 rate of drop is gonna be miniscule. Even for those with a meter and watching it every minute.

prefilter is the mesh thing? I thought just wash away the dust with water ok already?
Honeywell prefilter is not those plastic mesh type. Is not washable. It is a carbon prefilter. U don't wash activated carbon filters.

If really want, can vacuum it. That's what I did, and changed it every 6 mths, instead of the recommended 3mths for optimal result.

They have the light indicator, indicating time to change. But I usually reset it and only changed it when it flashes the next time. LOL

I'm not using the 17000 series. Have given away the 17000 series to my friend, who has heart problem.

I'm now using the 18000 series. 18200 and 18450. I still have spare prefilters and hepa filters for both models, in my storeroom. Hehe.

I don't think I need any more for time being. Thank you very much for your offer. Appreciates. :)

Bro WRX,

I'm using Samsung Ax40. Does using the taobao customized hepa filter result in lower air flow rate? 45mm vs 60mm vs the stock Samsung hepa? Appreciate your help!

Original Samsung filter. 15.5kph
45mm 14.5kph
60mm 16.7kph

The volume of airflow (m3/hr) scales direct with the speed of the airflow - direct relationship.
