Bought a local Honeywell 18200 about 2 weeks back and ordered the Samsung AX40 after reading all good sharing

I can offer 淘宝 expertise to those who are not familiar with the process (chatting via 阿里旺旺, forwarding, etc).

I'm also trying to get some spare filters for my Samsung AX40. What I lack is the right merchandise link & the specific spec to tell him. Anybody who can share this information I can order a few for you (no monetary profit). Self-collect at Tanjong Pagar station during lunch time on weekdays.

In terms of shipment optimization, with air shipment not much optimization. Unless you ordering enough to exceed 10kg for air shipment, or enough purifiers to clock 1 cubic metre (at which point can consider sea shipment which will take close to 1 mth to reach SG).

Just let me know the details.

all have 1 piece of filter... can get extra if u used up current ones fast...

RMB110 ea for 310mm x 281mm x 45mm HEPA. Gives about 15kph windspeed at the outlet. Need to aliwangwang and chat with the seller to give the dimensions, but he knows what to do lah....coz have sold a few liao.

The RMB26 HEPA also can be cut to fit the Samsung AX40. But airflow is 12.5kph. Good enough for daily use.

Wattage when using the RMB26 HEPA is 19W for the AX40. Wattage when using the RMB110 45mm depth HEPA is about 27W. Measured by a DMM at the power socket. So it's maciam like a manual fan speed control.


And no matter what, be it Sharp original HEPA or customised taobao HEPA or your own specially cut up HEPA, all must use the plastic packaging/tissue paper and roll them up, stuff them in with a ruler/flat blade screw driver, plug up the sides to prevent bypass. They will work ok as long as , don't worry, I have measured many times.

Actually, isn't HEPA more like plastic category...? PP/PET
High end HEPA uses like borosilicate fibreglass...

Can the virus doctor in ax40h5000gmd be switched off? The AP seems value for money but i dont trust those ioniser.. if it produces ozone then its no good. Like sitting next to a photocopier..bad for lungs

Default is off and yes can be switched on/off.
