Toabao HEPA 300x300x25mm fits the AX40, with airflow reduced by 35%.
Customized ones at 45mm or 60mm improves airflow to near original or slightly better, but are more expensive. Correct bo?

So does this mean sharp a28 easier and cheaper to get filter replacements?
My mum have a sharp a28. Thinking of getting Samsung AX40

Can advise the pros for either unit. Thanks

Different league... AX40 is twice the max airflow of A28 and much more silent leh....

I use this for my Samsung AX40 during non hazy days and also the Sharp A28 and the Novita NAP 501.

Cut it into size. Please do not ask me how does one cut it into size with a scissors/penknife. You just cut. If there is a hole, you just plug.

If this is troublesome and not worth the time, just get the customised one. If this sounds crazy and afraid of bogus stuff, want a 1-stop solution, get an IQ Air....they even do filter deliveries etc.

This one has a measured efficiency of 98% @ 0.3 microns thereabouts, my own personal measurement.

Not sure if it's worth the $400 price difference from 7000 to 25000 plasmacluster ions compared to one model down. Coverage is slightly bigger only with a bigger water tank

Actually last time I really consolidate until above 2CBM before I dispatch my items over via sea shipping; but this time(s) round, I'm really just getting a couple of pieces of filters for myself to standby for next year(s).

I don't think I wanna purposely go buy a few more tables & chairs/rice cookers/slow juicers/shelves/baby prams/wedding decor/etc. just so that I can hit 10kg (to save a tiny bit on air shipment) or hit 1CBM just to use sea shipment. What you say makes sense of course, but for the timing being I really have nothing much (more) to buy.

I guess maybe it's a high demand price. He knows that this region are getting smoked. He said that similarly whenever there is a sudden smog issue in China, everyone would scramble to buy air purifiers and filters at the last minute. This is despite that China has a perennial smog issue.

Probably we Singaporeans are not the only buyers, Malaysians are buying too and TB sends there as well. From Muar to KL to Kuantan, they are experiencing a worse haze problem than us. Maybe can try again later, there's no hurry.
